Corduroy tells the story of a small teddy bear named Corduroy who lives in a department store. Corduroy longs for a home and a friend, so when a little girl named Lisa shows interest in him, he embarks on an adventure through the store at night to find his missing button, hoping it will make him more appealing to be adopted. Despite his misadventures, Corduroy learns that he is loved just as he is by Lisa, who happily takes him home to be her own.
