In a happy land, a small blue engine helps deliver toys and goodies to children on the other side of a mountain. Along the way, bigger engines refuse to help, but the little engine bravely agrees to try. Despite feeling unsure, the little engine repeats the mantra "I think I can, I think I can" as it climbs the steep mountain, eventually reaching the top and completing the mission.
